Hello beautiful people! Sorry for the lack of posts in the last few weeks. School has been kicking my butt all over the place so Ive had to put a lot more time into it and a little less into pattern creating. I handed in my essay last week so I'll be back to regular posting!
Today's pattern is an oh so cute lacy V stitch bonnet. I'm using a lovely new yarn by Moda Vera called Alder which is a 100% viscose (from bamboo) yarn. Its very soft and has a lovely sheen to it. It does split a little but its worth it for the fabric it creates.
This pattern uses a triple crochet stitch, here is a quicky on how to do it.
1. Yarn over hook twice, then insert hook into next stitch.
2. Yarn over hook and draw yarn through stitch - (there are four loops on the hook).
3. Loop yarn over hook and draw through two loops, (there are now three loops remaining on the hook).
4. Yarn over hook and draw through two loops.
5. Again, loop yarn over hook and draw through the last two loops on the hook (there is now one loop remaining.)
This completes one triple crochet.
Ok lets get started shall we?
