5. Peanut Preemie Beanie
Morning beautiful lovelies and hello to day 5! Wow this week sure is powering through quickly! How are you going so far? I'm just weaving in ends of a bunch of these Peanut beanies today! Oh so cute and simple.
The contrasting front and back post brim creates just enough texture without it being too overwhelming, and the colour combinations are endless! You could also try this one with contrasting stripes, or perhaps even an ombre.

You Will Need
4.5mm hook
DK weight/8ply yarn in a main and contrasting colour
Sized To Fit
32-34 Weeks Gestation
1: Into a magic ring make 10 dc's, join to the first dc. - 10dc
2: Ch3, 2dc in the same stitch, 2dc in each stitch around, join to the first dc - 20dc
3: Ch3, dc in the same stitch, dc in each stitch around, join to the first dc. - 20dc
4: Ch3, 2dc in the same stitch, 2dc in each stitch around, join to the first dc. -40dc
5-7: Ch3, dc in the same stitch and each stitch around
Change Colour
8: Ch1, sc in same stitch, sc in each stitch around, join to the first sc
9-11: Ch3, *fpdc around the next 2 stitches, bpdc around the next 2 stitches*, repeat around, join to the first fpdc.
End off, weave in tails.
