Today's pattern is another take on the cross over stitch texture that I love so much! This bonnet will fit 36 weeks gestation.

Starting chain counts as first stitch, and in the end round stitch count.

Finished Measurements: 11cm from brim to crown, 16cm across the brim.
Amount Of Yarn Used: 51 Meters/56 Yards/19g of 4Seasons Marvel 8Ply
Hook Size: 4mm
Yarn: DK/8Ply
1: Into a magic ring make 12dc. -12dc
2: ch3, dc in the same st, 2dc in each remaining st around, join to the ch3. -24dc
3: ch3, dc in the same st, dc in th next st, *2dc in the next st, dc in the next st*, repeat around, join to the ch3. -36dc
4: ch3, dc in the same st, dc in the next 2 sts, *2dc in the next st, dc in the next 2 sts*, repeat across, do not join. -48dc
5: ch2, turn, hdc in each st across. -48hdc
6: ch3, turn, dc in the next 3 sts, dc into the base of the starting ch3, *sk1, dc in the next 3 sts, dc into the skipped st*, repeat across.
7: ch2, turn, hdc in each st across. -48hdc
8-9: Repeat rounds 6 and 7
10: ch1, turn, sc in each st across. -48sc
End off and weave in tails.
Chain 40, with the bonnet sitting with the neck facing up join your yarn to the right corner, sc1 and sc evenly across the neck line to the left corner, ch40 to complete the second tie. End off.
