IBGHD 2019 Day 9 The Alaska Jade Burns Bonnet
Hello lovelies and welcome to day 8.
Today's pattern is a lovely little textured brim bonnet designed to fit 28 weeks gestation. I love how the post stitches add just a touch of depth to this one.
This pattern is in remembrance of Alaska Jade Burns

US Terms
Key:
St - Stitch
Ch - Chain
Sc - Single Crochet
Dc - Double Crochet
Blo - Back Loop Only
Hdc - Half Double Crochet
Fpdc - Front Post Double Crochet
Bpdc - Back Post Double Crochet
Instructions in * * should be repeated
Starting chain counts as first stitch, and in the end round stitch count.
Like the beanie version of this pattern we will be doing one round with 3rd loop stitches, however, because bonnets are worked back and forth instead of in the round, for the 3rd loop row on this pattern, you will find the loop IN FRONT of the stitch, instead of behind it.
Details on crocheting into the 3rd loop can be found here if you need them https://www.mooglyblog.com/third-loop-half-double-crochet/

Should first row start with 3ch and join to 1st DC not 2st?
