Good morning to one and all, here we are at day 25!
Today's pattern uses the same waistcoat or knit style stitch that yesterday's bonnet did. It's such a fun texture to play with. This beanie will fit a baby of 28 weeks gestation. Be sure to use a gentle hand on the sc section, if your sc stitches are too tight the brim will be stiff. If your having trouble with the stiffness, go up to a 4.5mm hook for that section.
This pattern is in remembrance of The Sebastian and Blayde Treffers

Starting chain counts as first stitch, and in the end round stitch count.
This pattern uses what is known as a waistcoat stitch, or knit stitch. These start on round 7. A waistcoat stitch is made by making a sc by inserting your hook in between the posts of the stitch, rather than the top of the stitch.
