Owen Beanie

Hello hello!

Today's pattern is another 36 weeker beanie, this one leaning more towards styles for boys. Of course, any colour could be used but I think this one looks great in browns and blues and greens.

This pattern is also a great way to use up darker colours on preemie hats. Just make sure your last colour is a light colour (pale blue, white, cream) so it frames bubs face and your set!

You will need:
5mm hook
DK weight (8ply) yarn in 3 colours. Colour A (green), Colour B (blue) and Colour C (cream)

34 weeks
With colour A
R1: ch3, dc 10 times, join
R2: ch2, 2dc in each stitch around, join.
R3: ch3, *2dc, 1dc* repeat around, join
R4-6: ch3, dc in each stitch around, join
Join colour B
R7: ch2, *FPDC around the first stitch, BPDC around the next stitch* repeat around, join.
Join colour C
R8: ch2, *FPDC around the FPDC from the previous round, BPDC around the BPDC from the previous round* repeat around, join.
R9: ch2, FPHDC around the FPDC from the previous round, BPHDC around the BPDC from the previous round* repeat around, join.

Weave in all ends.
