The Jamie Beanie

Hello and good morning! Today is day 21 for the #ittybittygianthatdrive and today's beanie is a complete contrast to yesterdays. The Jamie beanie will fit a larger full term baby of around 8lb or more. Like I've said previously, its important to include all sizes, babies of all ages can wind up in the NICU.  The Jamie beanie features a pop of colour down the side. This is a great one for any smaller lengths of fun yarn you may have.

Measurements
Crown: 11.5cm diameter after round 4
14cm in height
17cm in width across the brim

You Will Need
Worsted Weight Yarn in a main and 2 contrasting colours.
5mm Hook

Key = A - Grey
           B - Green
           C - Yellow

With A
1. dc 12 times into a magic ring, join. (12)

2. ch2, dc in the same stitch, 2dc in the next 6 stitches, With B 2dc in the next stitch, With A 2dc in all remaining stitches, join. (24)

3. ch2, dc in the same stitch, *dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch*, repeat twice more, dc in the next stitch, With B, 2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next stitch, With A, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next stitch*, repeat around, join. (36)

4. ch2, dc in the same stitch, dc in the next 2 stitches, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 2 stitches*, repeat twice more, With B, 2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 3 stitches, With A, dc in the same stitch as the last green stitch, dc in the next 2 stitches, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 2 stitches*, repeat around, join. 5. ch2, dc in the next 15 stitches, With B, dc in the next 5 stitches, With A dc in the remaining stitches around, join.

6. ch2, dc in the next 13 stitches, dc2tg, With B 2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 3 stitches, 2dc in the next stitch, With A, dc2tg, dc in the remaining stitches, join.
