The Shelle Beanie

Good morning beautiful people and welcome to day 25. Wowser not long left now!

Today's beanie is named after.. Myself! Its got many components to it, kind of like me. You will need to concentrate for this beanie, and if you are a beginner, I suggest printing the pattern out and highlighting the rounds as you go. On all of my patterns, if you scroll to the bottom of the post you will see a bright green PRINT button, which gives you a print friendly version :)

The Shelle beanie will fit a full term newborn baby. It uses 5 different coloured yarns, and has 18 rounds, all different. I have to say, this one really challenged me. I've been wanting to do something like it for a while now but truth be told, math isn't a strong suit of mine, and I struggled with getting the stitch types and repeats to work. It took me longer then it probably should have, but I think the end result is totally worth it! I love how cheerful this beanie is. I can't wait to see what colour combinations you all use!

You can choose to drop and pick up yarns or end off and rejoin each colour. I used the drop and pick up method, just be sure not to pull them too tight when you swap colours over.
