I love today's beanie, it is one of my favourites. I love the stripes, I love that it can be completely random and I love that I can use up all sorts of almost gone balls of yarn to make one hat!
Pay particular attention to the increases in round 3, they can be a little tricky, but totally worth the effort.
The Makenna Beanie
Sized to fit:
24-26 Weeks Gestation
You Will Need:
DK weight/8ply yarn in 3 colours. I used Moda Vera Marvel and ThoroBred
4mm hook
Note: The colour for each stripe in this hat was picked at random, you can follow my colour changes, or choose your own. You may like to use more than 3 colours and that is fine too, or you could use 2 for alternating stripes.
For the sake of the pattern, A = white, B = light blue and C = dark blue
