4. Garret Preemie Beanie
Good morning beautiful people! Day 4, hat 4! Today's hat features a sweet little v pattern, that works just great for any colour! It uses a 5mm hook too, making it a quick project that can be completed in a half hour or less! It's also a very easy pattern to memorise, and one I make frequently in the car!

You Will Need:
5mm hook
DK weight/8ply yarn
Sized To Fit
38 Weeks Gestation
1: Into a magic ring make 8dc's
2: Ch3, dc in the same stitch, 2dc in each stitch around, join to the ch3. -16dc
3: Ch3, dc in the same stitch, dc in the next stitch, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next stitch*, repeat around, join. -24dc
4: Ch3, dc in the same stitch, dc in the next 2 stitches, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 2 stitches*, repeat around, join. -32dc
5: Ch3, dc in the same stitch, dc in the next 3 stitches, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 3 stitches*, repeat around, join. -40dc
6: Ch3, dc in the same stitch, dc in the next 4 stitches, *2dc in the next stitch, dc in the next 4 stitches*, repeat around, join. -48dc
7: Ch6 (counts as first dc and ch3), dc in the same stitch, *sk3, (dc, ch3, dc) in the next stitch*, repeat around, join to the 3rd ch of the ch6.
8: Slst into the first ch3 space, ch1, 4sc in the ch3 space, 4sc in each ch3 space around, join to the ch1.
9-10: Repeat rounds 7 and 8
11-12: Ch1, sc in each stitch around, join to the ch1.
End off and weave in tails.
Alternative Colour Options.
Change colours on rounds 7 and 9 to create a fun zigzag pattern.
